Why this deal may be worth it
From the source report
Worth considering if you want USB-C display glasses for mirroring compatible devices such as a laptop or gaming handheld: the article reports a $254 Amazon offer against a $299.99 listed price. The glasses have interchangeable outer shells, but lack the built-in three degrees of freedom that lets the pricier 1S lock its virtual screen in place.
Best suited for Buyers seeking USB-C display glasses for compatible video-out devices, including laptops and gaming handhelds.
What stands out
USB-C connection supports mirroring from numerous compatible gadgets, which may suit buyers who want a virtual display for a laptop or gaming handheld.
The outer shell can be replaced, and the article says the glasses include both a blue-tinted shell and a “Lights Out” shell that better blocks outside light.
About the price
The article reports $254 at Amazon versus a displayed $299.99 price, while also citing a $299 launch price. These are source-reported figures, not merchant-verified prices or evidence of typical selling prices; the available price data cannot establish the offer's broader value.
Before you buy
The glasses do not include the built-in three degrees of freedom feature that lets the pricier Xreal 1S lock its virtual screen in place.
The author says that, as a nearsighted person, they needed prescription lenses for a crisp image; the article cites HonsVR lenses at $50.
