The glasses have interchangeable outer shells, but lack the built-in three degrees of freedom that lets the pricier 1S lock its virtual screen in place. Best suited for: Buyers seeking USB-C display glasses for compatible video-out devices, including laptops and gaming handhelds. ### Why It’s Worth Buying - USB-C connection supports mirroring from numerous compatible gadgets, which may suit buyers who want a virtual display for a laptop or gaming handheld. - The outer shell can be replaced, and the article says the glasses include both a blue-tinted shell and a “Lights Out” shell that better blocks outside light. ### Why the Price Makes Sense The article reports $254 at Amazon versus a displayed $299.99 price, while also citing a $299 launch price. These are source-reported figures, not merchant-verified prices or evidence of typical selling prices; the available price data cannot establish the offer's broader value. ### Consider before buying - The glasses do not include the built-in three degrees of freedom feature that lets the pricier Xreal 1S lock its virtual screen in place. - The author says that, as a nearsighted person, they needed prescription lenses for a crisp image; the article cites HonsVR lenses at $50. ## Evidence and sources The page did not provide enough matching price, stock, seller, variant, condition, and US-eligibility evidence.
