TechRadar published its tested recommendations for consumer drones across multiple categories, highlighting options such as the sub-$300 DJI Mini 4K for budget beginners, the dual-lens DJI Air 3S for enthusiast aerial photography, and the palm-launch HoverAir X1 Pro for hands-free selfies. While the publication designated the DJI Mini 5 Pro and Mavic 4 Pro as top overall picks, it emphasized that neither model launched in the US market, keeping previous generations like the Mavic 3 Pro relevant for domestic buyers. Prospective pilots should also factor in FAA registration rules for crafts exceeding 249 grams.

## Media review

TechRadar names the DJI Mini 5 Pro its best overall drone, citing its lightweight design, camera versatility, and obstacle sensing, while noting its single fixed-aperture camera and US launch unavailability.
