The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of Snow Peak propane fireplace inserts and lava rocks due to fire and burn hazards that pose a risk of serious injury or death. This safety warning matters for owners of these outdoor products, as federal law strictly prohibits the sale or resale of recalled items. Specific remedy procedures such as repairs or refunds are not detailed in the notice, so consumers should visit CPSC.gov or contact the CPSC hotline for updated instructions and incident reporting.
