Why this deal may be worth it
From the source report
The TecX X-Pro I Tanto may be worth considering if you want a locking folder with a partially serrated tanto blade and pocket clip, and are interested in the Case connection without traditional styling. The article reports a $23.15 price but describes no verified discount, and advises checking the model, seller, current price, and return options before buying.
Best suited for Buyers specifically interested in a partially serrated tanto folder with a liner lock and pocket clip, rather than a traditional Case-style pocket knife.
What stands out
The blade combines a plain edge with partial serrations, which the article says can help start cuts in fibrous materials such as rope or cord.
The thumb stud, liner lock, and pocket clip offer features associated with contemporary locking folders.
The reported 4.5-inch closed length and 3.5-ounce weight provide concrete dimensions to consider when checking pocket fit.
About the price
The source reports a price of $23.15 and calls it modest, but provides no comparison price or price history. That amount alone does not establish a discount or whether it is worthwhile; the article recommends checking the current price and seller before purchase.
Before you buy
The article says serrations can be less convenient to sharpen than a continuous plain edge.
Opening smoothness, lock engagement, and clip comfort are not established by the listed specifications; the article advises checking lock engagement before use.
The article notes that the catalog does not specify the exact 440 steel grade.
Seller, current price, and return options should be checked before buying, according to the article.
