TechRadar's Rhys Wood reviewed Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered on PC, praising its tactical pacing, bundled Xtreme Legends content, and satisfying unlockable officer progression. The remaster allows players to switch between a faithful classic mode and modern combat updates such as dodges and counters. However, the review cautions that repetitive campaign objectives can grow monotonous across extended play sessions, and the game lacks standard accessibility toggles like subtitles or colorblind modes.

## Media review

The TechRadar reviewer found the remaster appealing for its modern and Classic play options, added quality-of-life features, and included Xtreme Legends content. They also note that replaying officer campaigns can become repetitive.
