### Why It’s Worth Buying

- The sliding two-way lock lets you control pet access on demand.
- The listed fit covers interior wood, storm, PVC, paneled, or metal doors from 0.5 to 2 inches thick.
- The source says it includes a cutting template, foam tape, screws, and a product manual, which may provide the materials and instructions needed for installation.

### Why the Price Makes Sense

The source reports a $9.99 checkout price and an $18 reference price, but its claim that the offer is $9 cheaper does not match those displayed amounts: the difference is $8.01. These source-reported prices do not establish a typical selling price or price history. Free shipping is stated for Prime members; the source does not specify shipping costs for others.
