SoundGuys details the Timekettle LiveTalk AI Interpreter Earbuds ($129 announced MSRP), an open-ear, ear-hook model designed for travelers, students, and daily listeners needing cross-language tools. According to the source's breakdown of manufacturer specifications, the earbuds feature 11mm dynamic drivers, up to eight hours of music playback, 25 downloadable offline language pairs, and four app-based translation modes covering conversations, lectures, calls, and media. Unlike the professionally focused W4 Plus, LiveTalk relies on a smartphone microphone to capture face-to-face speech and requires both earbuds to be connected for translation. Online translation is limited to 200 free non-rollover minutes per month unless users purchase add-on packs or subscriptions starting at $5.99 monthly.

## Buying guide

The SoundGuys article presents LiveTalk as an everyday option for combining translation with music listening, contrasting its broader daily-use features with the W4 Plus's professional-communication focus.
