## AI Recommendation Reasons

The Greenworks 24V 12-inch cordless electric chainsaw is worth considering if you need an accessible, low-maintenance tool for yard maintenance, storm cleanup, or firewood cutting. The included 4.0Ah battery and charger offer push-button operation and up to 85+ cuts per charge without gas fumes or pull cords. However, the reported $119.99 deal price on Amazon is unverified in Savlume records, so buyers should check whether the price and stock remain available.

Best suited for: Homeowners and occasional users seeking a compact, battery-powered tool for light storm cleanup, yard maintenance, or small firewood cutting.

### Why It’s Worth Buying

- Complete bundle includes the 12-inch chainsaw, scabbard, 4.0Ah battery, and fast charger to get started without buying separate power accessories.
- Brushless motor with push-button start eliminates the maintenance, mixing, and pull cords associated with gas engines.
- Tool-less tensioning and an automatic oiler streamline on-the-fly chain adjustments and lubrication.
- Supplied 4.0Ah battery is rated to deliver up to 85+ cuts per charge for typical homeowner cutting tasks.

### Why the Price Makes Sense

The source reported a $119.99 shipped checkout price on Amazon, representing an $80 reduction from Greenworks' cited $200 direct MSRP and $23 below a reported $143 going rate. The source also noted previous 2026 price points of $179 and $129, matching this $119.99 figure to a prior June Prime Day mark. However, retailer reference prices do not prove typical market value, and Savlume has only a single unverified observation recorded on October 11, 2026, so current pricing cannot be confirmed.

### Consider before buying

- The offer is unverified in Savlume records, meaning active stock, seller credentials, and pricing have not been independently confirmed.
- A 12-inch bar and 24V platform are intended for light homeowner use and are not suited for heavy tree felling or demanding commercial cutting.
- While an automatic oiler is built in, chain oil is not listed among the included package items and may need to be acquired separately.
