AI Recommendation Reasons
Source-based
The abxylute P5 may be worth considering if you want a PS5 controller with Hall Effect sticks, advertised adaptive triggers, and two programmable rear buttons. The source reports an introductory price of $75.99 and shipping expected in late October 2026, but says the controller has not been tested hands-on, so its trigger feel and real-world performance remain unconfirmed.
Best suited for PS5 players looking for Hall Effect joysticks and programmable rear buttons, or a controller that can also connect to Windows PCs and mobile devices.
Why It’s Worth Buying
Hall Effect joysticks use magnetic sensors instead of sliding electrical contacts, reducing reliance on a wear-prone sensing mechanism; the source cautions they are not immune to drift.
Two programmable rear buttons support remapping and macros, which could let players access assigned commands without moving their thumbs from the joysticks.
The controller connects to PS5 over Bluetooth without a separate USB receiver and also supports USB-C wired play.
The source says it is compatible with Windows PCs, Android devices, and iPhones, which may suit players who switch between platforms.
Why the Price Makes Sense
The source reports a $75.99 introductory price against a listed regular price of $89.99. That comparison does not establish a typical selling price or price history, so the available data cannot establish the offer's broader value. The source says the early-bird offer ends October 15 and shipping is expected in late October 2026; it does not provide shipping costs or return terms.
Consider before buying
The source says the P5 has not been tested hands-on, so how closely its adaptive triggers match the DualSense remains unknown.
The source does not establish DualSense-equivalent haptic feedback or full feature parity.
The source advertises approximately eight hours of battery life, with actual runtime depending on usage.
Shipping is expected in late October 2026, rather than being described as immediate.
