DealNews reports that Amazon has the X-Sense SWS0A 3-Pack Wi-Fi Water Leak Detector Add-On listed for $28 before tax, down from a cited $40 reference price. These compact 0.7-inch-thick sensors detect water as shallow as 0.4 mm and feature up to a 120 dB audible alarm, making them useful for expanding an existing SWS0A41 leak detection setup. Shoppers can purchase the 3-pack directly at Amazon, where Prime members receive free shipping; shipping costs for non-Prime customers are unknown. Note that these are add-on units that require a separately sold SBS50 base station and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for alerts and app notifications.

## AI Recommendation Reasons

This 3-pack may be worth considering if you already have an SWS0A41 system and need additional leak sensors for tight spaces. DealNews reports a $28 price against a $40 reference, but alerts require a separately sold SBS50 base station.

Best suited for: People adding sensors to an existing X-Sense SWS0A41 system who can use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

### Why It’s Worth Buying

- The source says the sensors detect water as shallow as 0.4 mm, which may help identify small leaks.
- At 0.7 inches thick, the sensors may fit in tight spaces.
- Each sensor has top and bottom probes, according to the source.

### Why the Price Makes Sense

DealNews reports $28 versus $40, but the source does not establish whether $40 is an MSRP, retailer reference price, or typical selling price. The reported $28 price does not include the cost of the separately sold SBS50 base station; free shipping is reported for Prime members.

### Consider before buying

- The sensors are add-ons for an existing SWS0A41 system, not a stated standalone setup.
- The SBS50 base station is sold separately and required for alerts and app notifications.
- The source reports free shipping only with Prime membership.
- The sensors work over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only.
