## AI Recommendation Reasons

The source reports the 65-inch TCL QM8L at $1,298 against a $2,500 list price, and describes strong brightness, color, and contrast in CNET testing. It may be worth considering if you want a bright mini-LED TV for HDR viewing or gaming, but the reported deal price is not independently verified here.

Best suited for: Buyers seeking a bright 65-inch TV for HDR viewing or current-generation console gaming, based on the source’s testing and reviewer comments.

### Why It’s Worth Buying

- The source reports a 4,240-nit test result, which may suit buyers who prioritize high brightness for HDR content.
- CNET reviewer Ty Pendlebury described its color and contrast as excellent, supporting its consideration for buyers seeking strong picture quality.
- The source reports 9.9ms input lag, a potentially useful feature for console gamers.

### Why the Price Makes Sense

The source reports a $1,298 price and a $2,500 list price; the stated $1,202 difference matches those amounts arithmetically. The list price is not evidence of the TV’s typical selling price, and the source does not establish that the reported offer is currently available or merchant-verified.

### Consider before buying

- The source says the TV is not as contrast-rich as similarly priced OLED models.
- The source notes that the screen is more reflective in bright rooms.
- Shipping, returns, and warranty terms are not provided in the supplied material.
