Govee's official Amazon storefront is offering its new Bubble Projector Light with Matter for $79.99 shipped, down from its recent $90 selling price and $135 launch price. The smart ambient projector provides dual-layer bubble and background projections covering up to 540 square feet, along with 18 white noise options and broad smart home integration via Matter, Alexa, and Google Assistant. Note that the package does not include a power adapter, so users will need to supply their own 5V/2A or higher power source.

## AI Recommendation Reasons

Worth considering if you want ambient projection lighting with smart-home control: the source describes 5-zone background lighting, projections covering up to 540 square feet, and Matter compatibility. The reported $79.99 offer is below the source's stated $90 later price, but the source's price history is limited and does not establish a broader market trend.

Best suited for: Buyers seeking ocean-themed room lighting with customizable scenes, white-noise options, and compatibility with Matter, Alexa, Google Assistant, or SmartThings.

### Why It’s Worth Buying

- The source says its projection area reaches up to 540 square feet, which may suit rooms where wall and ceiling coverage is desired.
- It offers 80+ preset scenes and DIY control over 5-zone background lighting, giving buyers options to customize the room's look.
- Matter compatibility and support for Alexa, Google Assistant, and SmartThings may help it fit into existing smart-home setups.
- The source lists 18 white-noise options and a smart sleep mode, adding sleep-oriented features beyond lighting.

### Why the Price Makes Sense

The source reports a $79.99 price, compared with a $135 launch price and a later $90 price. Those are source-reported comparisons, not proof of typical selling price or a full price history; the source describes $79.99 as $10 below the prior $90 level. The stated price includes shipping according to the source, but that shipping claim is not independently confirmed.

### Consider before buying

- The source says a power adapter is not included and recommends a 5VDC 2A or higher adapter.
- The reported offer and price history come from the article and are not independently verified.
