The Gadgeteer reports that Google has teased an October 12, 2026 announcement for the rumored Fitbit Edge fitness tracker, with unofficial reports estimating a US price around $180. According to leaked specifications and images cited from Android Headlines, the compact wearable may feature a 1.34-inch AMOLED touchscreen, built-in GPS, up to seven days of battery life, expanded health metrics, and potential Gemini-powered coaching. The device could suit shoppers seeking standalone workout tracking and basic Google tools like Maps and media controls without the bulk of a full smartwatch. However, official retail pricing, store availability, regional regulatory limits for health sensors, and potential paid subscription requirements remain unconfirmed.
