TechRadar tested the Fujifilm Instax Pal 2, highlighting its pocket-sized retro body, sensory tactile controls, and fun film-aspect border simulation. However, the reviewer cautions that the $169.95 digital compact produces lo-fi 10MP photos, suffers from noticeable shutter lag, delivers short battery life, and requires an external Instax Link printer to produce hard copies. It suits enthusiasts seeking a fidget-friendly, ultra-portable companion for selective mobile printing, but offers questionable value against full-featured instant cameras.

## Media review

The reviewer enjoyed the Pal 2’s quirky, tactile design but judged its $169.95 price difficult to justify given its lo-fi images, poor battery life, and shutter lag; he suggests it may make more sense if its price falls.
