TechRadar tested the Fairphone 6 Plus, marking the Dutch eco-conscious brand's official retail debut in the US at a $649.99 list price. Reviewer Tom Bedford praised the device's rugged modular chassis, accessible DIY spare parts, clean software, and seven-year Android update commitment. However, the outlet noted that its Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 performance, average dual rear cameras, and bulky build fall behind similarly priced competitors, making it worthwhile primarily for sustainability-minded users prioritizing repairability and longevity over bleeding-edge specs.

## Media review

TechRadar's reviewer recommends the Fairphone 6 Plus for buyers committed to greener, repairable phones and long-term use, while cautioning that its price and middling performance make it a poor fit for buyers seeking the strongest specs for the money.
