CNET reports that Amazon has discounted the Elevation Lab AirTag Battery Extender 4-pack to $37, down from an original $45. Single units and 2-packs are also available for $20 and $30, respectively. The rugged, IP69-rated cases let you replace an AirTag's coin cell with two AA batteries for manufacturer-claimed runtimes of up to 10 years. Buyers must supply their own AirTags and AA batteries, and the enclosed design reduces the tracker's chime volume by up to two-thirds.

## AI Recommendation Reasons

Worth considering if you want to extend the battery life of several AirTags: Elevation Lab says the case can provide up to 10 years of battery life and is IP69 waterproof. The source reports a $37 price for four, but the case reduces AirTag volume, which may matter if you rely on hearing its sounds.

Best suited for: AirTag owners looking to extend battery life across multiple trackers, provided they can supply their own AirTags and AA batteries and can tolerate reduced sound volume.

### Why It’s Worth Buying

- The company says the case provides up to 10 years of battery life, which may reduce how often you need to replace an AirTag battery.
- The source describes the case as IP69 waterproof, a feature that may suit use in wet or rugged conditions.
- The 4-pack covers four trackers if you already have AirTags and AA batteries.

### Why the Price Makes Sense

The source reports a $37 price for the 4-pack, compared with an original price of $45. It also says $37 is $1 above the lowest price the source has seen for this multipack; that statement does not establish a usual selling price or a reported offer. The source does not provide shipping details, and the AirTags and AA batteries are separate requirements.

### Consider before buying

- AirTags and AA batteries are not included, according to the source.
- The source says the case can reduce AirTag volume by as much as two-thirds, which may make its sounds harder to hear.
- The price and comparison are source-reported; shipping and return terms are not provided.
