## AI Recommendation Reasons

Worth considering if you want to try standalone VR without a PC or console: the Quest 3S runs the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip and supports the same game library as the pricier Quest 3. The source reports a $255.99 refurbished price with code SAVE20TECH and says the headset includes a two-year Allstate warranty; weigh that against its less sharp, narrower visuals and confirm the code and terms before ordering.

Best suited for: Shoppers curious about VR who want a standalone headset and are comfortable buying refurbished.

### Why It’s Worth Buying

- Because it is standalone, the headset does not require a PC or console to play games.
- The source says it supports the same game library as the Quest 3, which may suit buyers choosing a less expensive entry point into that library.
- The refurbished unit is described as manufacturer-inspected and cleaned, with original or new accessories and a two-year Allstate warranty.

### Why the Price Makes Sense

The article reports $255.99 with code SAVE20TECH, compared with a stated current retail price of $349.99 and a recent $300 new-condition price during Amazon’s fall Prime Day event. Those source-reported comparisons do not establish typical market value. The code is required, and the discounted offer is for a refurbished unit.

### Consider before buying

- The article says the display resolution and optics are closer to the Quest 2’s, resulting in visuals that are narrower and less sharp.
- The offer requires coupon code SAVE20TECH and is for refurbished condition.
- The article states that accessories may be original or new; it does not specify which will be included in a particular unit.
