The Gadgeteer reports on the US availability of the TDM Neo, an over-ear headphone and Bluetooth speaker hybrid listed at $249 direct from TDM (in black or white) and $249.99 on Amazon (in black). Based on manufacturer specifications, the source highlights its four 40mm drivers, customizable twist action, 3.5mm wired input, replaceable battery design, and rated battery life of over 200 hours as headphones or 16 hours as a speaker. The author concludes the device suits travelers looking to pack one device for both solo transit and shared room listening, though it lacks hands-on testing in the article. Key limitations include the absence of active noise cancellation for music listening and the reported out-of-stock status of the $29.95 replacement battery kit.

## Media review

The Gadgeteer presents Neo as most compelling for people who will use both its headphone and speaker modes, while identifying the lack of listening ANC as a significant tradeoff for noisy travel.
