The source reports Best Buy is offering the unit at $849.99 shipped with a 1-year parts and labor warranty, plus all original parts and accessories. Because availability and pricing for open-box inventory are unverified beyond the source report, confirm condition and stock at checkout. Best suited for: Portable PC gamers seeking a Windows handheld capable of running demanding AAA titles across Xbox Game Pass, Steam, and Epic Games who are comfortable buying open-box hardware to save money. ### Why It’s Worth Buying - Pairs an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor with 24GB of LPDDR5X 8000 MHz RAM and a 1TB SSD, providing extra memory and capacity over the standard model for demanding AAA games. - Includes a microSD card slot alongside the 1TB internal SSD, making it straightforward to expand storage capacity later. - Features a 7-inch FHD IPS touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium, and up to 500 nits of brightness for smooth portable gameplay. - Open-box "Excellent" condition includes all original parts and accessories plus a 1-year parts and labor warranty, reducing the typical risk of buying non-new hardware. ### Why the Price Makes Sense The source reports a checkout price of $849.99 with shipping included at Best Buy for an Open-Box "Excellent" unit, comparing it to a source-reported $1,000 launch price (a $150.01 difference, which the source rounds to $150 off) and prior open-box sightings around $870. While the article headline mentions "up to $210 off," the body text shows that larger reduction applies to lower-grade "Fair" condition units at $761.99 shipped rather than this "Excellent" tier. Launch and reference prices do not prove typical selling prices for open-box hardware, and limited Savlume records contain only a single source-reported observation of $849.99 on October 11, 2026, which cannot establish a broader price trend. Still, if you value the 24GB RAM / 1TB spec bump over the standard model and accept open-box terms, $849.99 shipped with a 1-year warranty is a notable reduction from the reported $1,000 launch figure. ### Consider before buying - This offer is for an Open-Box "Excellent" unit rather than factory-new hardware; according to the source, the original packaging, owner's manual, and manufacturer registration may be missing. - Price, open-box inventory availability, and shipping terms are based solely on the source report and have not been independently verified. - Return policy details and specific warranty claim procedures (whether fulfilled by Best Buy or the manufacturer) are not specified in the source. ## Evidence and sources Source report only.
