9to5Toys reports that B&H is offering the JBL Clip 5 portable Bluetooth speaker in white for roughly $45 shipped, down from its standard $80 MSRP. The promotional price relies on an auto-applied coupon during checkout as part of B&H's daily deals. The speaker features an integrated carabiner, IP67 water and dust resistance, Auracast pairing support, and up to 12 hours of rated playback. Deepest savings apply strictly to the white model, and pricing is subject to daily deal expiration.

## AI Recommendation Reasons

The Clip 5 may be worth considering if you want a portable speaker that can clip to a bag or belt loop and is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance. The source’s price details conflict: it reports $49.95 shipped with a $15 coupon, but also calls the offer $45, so the payable price is unclear.

Best suited for: People seeking a portable Bluetooth speaker with an integrated carabiner for carrying on a bag or belt loop, or for use around water or dust where an IP67 rating is useful.

### Why It’s Worth Buying

- The integrated carabiner has a wider opening than the previous-generation model, which the source says makes it easier to attach to backpacks and belt loops.
- The IP67 rating is presented as protection against water and dust, relevant for settings such as a poolside or seaside outing.
- JBL rates playback at up to 12 hours, with Playtime Boost adding up to 3 hours, according to the source.
- Auracast support allows pairing two Clip 5 speakers for stereo playback or linking multiple compatible JBL speakers, according to the source.

### Why the Price Makes Sense

The article reports $49.95 shipped and a $15 coupon that auto-applies, which would imply $34.95 if both apply to the same purchase. However, it also calls the price $45 and compares that amount with an $80 regular Amazon price. Because those figures conflict, the checkout cost and value cannot be established from the source. The $80 figure is a source-reported reference, not evidence of a typical selling price.

### Consider before buying

- The source gives conflicting price information: $49.95 with a $15 coupon, versus a stated $45 offer price; confirm the checkout total before purchase.
- The article says the reported $45 low applies to the white finish; other finishes are described as having a lighter deal.
- The source reports shipping with the $49.95 price, but does not establish the shipping charge or terms at checkout.
