According to a report from MacRumors, Apple has outlined repair pricing for the upcoming iPhone Duo for customers without AppleCare+ coverage. Replacing the inner display's nano-texture cover layer will reportedly cost $49 out of warranty, or $19 with an active AppleCare+ plan. Additionally, an out-of-warranty battery replacement is listed at $229. These service options indicate that the inner screen's protective layer can be replaced separately from the underlying display panel, though complete warranty terms and service availability details remain unconfirmed.
