## AI Recommendation Reasons

This lifetime license is worth considering if you want core desktop Office applications on a single Windows PC without committing to a recurring Microsoft 365 subscription. It provides a permanent, fixed-feature installation of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Access alongside security updates. However, it is practical only if you plan to keep your current computer, as the license cannot be moved to another machine.

Best suited for: Windows 10 or 11 users who need standard desktop Office applications on a single long-term PC and want to avoid recurring subscription fees.

### Why It’s Worth Buying

- Provides lifetime access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Access for a one-time payment with no subscription.
- Includes dark mode support and standard security updates throughout the supported software lifecycle.
- Offers a stable, fixed feature set that functions locally without requiring cloud-dependent capabilities.
- Delivers the license key and download link digitally upon purchase for fast setup on an eligible PC.

### Why the Price Makes Sense

The source reports a checkout price of $49.97 against a regular reference price of $249.99 (a nominal $200.02 difference). However, publisher reference prices are not proof of typical selling prices across the market. Savlume's tracking includes only a single source-reported record of $49.97 from October 11, 2026, which is insufficient to establish a pricing trend. While $49.97 is significantly less than multiple years of a Microsoft 365 subscription, the value depends on accepting strict trade-offs, particularly the inability to transfer the license if your computer is replaced.

### Consider before buying

- The license is tied to the specific hardware it is activated on and cannot be transferred to a new computer.
- Incompatible with macOS; installation requires a PC running Windows 10 or Windows 11.
- Buyers must redeem the provided license code within 7 days of purchase.
- Features remain fixed to the 2024 release and do not include cloud-connected Microsoft 365 tools or future major upgrades.
